In what was the conference’s final address, Glenn Beck spoke to CPAC attendees about principles the founders fought for and about the principles our framers enshrined in the U.S. constitution. Refuting the notion that this over 200-year-old document can no longer be taken in the original manner in which it was written, Beck stressed that man’s nature is unchanging. Despite America’s cultural, economic, theological, and ideological changes, Beck insisted that the one thing that does not change is human nature itself. For this reason, we must read the constitution as the founders and framers originally intended.
In addressing freedom, Beck explained that the “most valuable commodity on earth is man.” Progressives will never be satisfied until they have achieved and maintain power of every man, whether that be over his mind, person, or spirit. History and the present day turmoil across the globe prove this to be true time and time again.
Beck concluded by stressing the need for conservatives to unite around the constitution, which he called America’s own golden ticket.
